The Preparation

wedding preparation

I had all weekend planned for me and my fiancé. We had to start planning for the wedding to come. I had no idea that there was so much to do for a wedding and how little I know about it. All I know is that I am the groom, but I was wrong.

We sat down from morning ’til noon just planning who to invite and what motif we would be using. I didn’t know that it could take that long just to think who to invite and what color to pick. As time goes by, we had to plan the entourage, where the reception will be, which church are we going to be wed, what songs we will be playing, how many layers of cake are we going to have, and which designer are we going to hire, man that was tiring and we were only seating there at the coffee shop, we hadn’t gone out doing stuff. It was just planning alone. It’s a good thing that my fiancé knows what to do and what she wanted, it made it a little bit easier. I never thought that this would be so difficult to deal with. But I told myself, all this will be worth it after we get married because I will be wed to the most beautiful girl in the world.

Who’s guilty?

law             I had heard this story from a friend, so tell me what you think. I had known this friend for quite sometime and she was always the nice person. So, this is how the story goes.

She hired a stay home nanny for her daughter. And the nanny doesn’t seem to like to take care of the kid. But my friend gave her the benefit of the doubt. And then things came missing – money, clothes, and other stuffs which was by the way found in the nanny’s bag, the kid always had mosquito bites, and the calls her friends to come over when no one else is around without asking for permission. But my friend was too nice that she forgave her nanny for everything but man if you see the kid’s legs and arms, then you’ll see that there really is negligence in her part. What ticked my friend off is hearing the nanny claiming that she has been maltreated and that my friend doesn’t give food to eat, which is very doubtfullaw and order because I’ve been in their house and all the food are out and everybody can have an easy access to it. And I’ve seen the nanny eat, man that woman can EAT! And so my friend decided to report this to the police after all these events. And she was told to release her and then file a case against her. But then the nanny, filed a case against my friend saying that she’s has been accused of, and that the salary was given to her.

So what would one think? Who is the guilty one here, my friend or the nanny?

How to Check for a Defloration

Posted in law with tags , , on December 5, 2007 by bradcook

Defloration is a laceration or rupture of the hymen as a result of sexual intercourse. All other laceration of the hymen which is not caused by sexual act are not considered as defloration.

Examination for Defloration:

      1.  Condition of the Vulva:

Normally the labia majora and minora are in close contact with one another covering almost completely the external genitalia. After defloration, the labia may gape exposing the intoitus vulvae.

The findinf may not be relied upon because some females may have inherently gaping labia, especially, asthenic women although there is no history of previous sexual act, while others may preserve the coaptated labia even if there has been previous sexual act.

    2.  Fourchette:

The normal V-shape of the fourchette is lost on account of the previous stretching during insertion of the male organ. Withdrawal of the stretching force will cause retraction of its walls with rounding of the base.

Retraction of the fourchette is not a good sign of defloration in as much as it can be due to other causes. Ballet dancing, separation of the thighs, tree climbing, cycling, horse riding, insertion of foreign body, etc. may cause retraction of the fourchette without previous sexual act.

The fourchette, together with the perineum and lower portion of the posterior vaginal wall, may be lacerated by sexual act or some other causes.

      3.  Vaginal Canal:

After repeated sexual acts, there is diminution of the sharpness or obliteration of the vaginal rugosities. There will be laxity of its wall so that insertion of a medium size tube during the medical examination can be done with slight resistance.

The changes in the vaginal rugosities or the laxity of its wall cannot be relied upon as a proof of defloration because instrumentation during medical examination, masturbation or insertion of foreign bodies or other similar or related acts will cause the development of such condition.

The vaginal wall, together with the vulva, may suffer injury during defloration or some other causes.

        4.  Hymen:

The hymen is lacerated during the initial sexual act. However, it is not always the case. Some hymens are thick, elastic and fleshy such that they can resist certain degree of distention without causing laceration. Some women may inherently have lacerated hymen probably on account of previous trauma during the early age. The fact that the hymen is intact does not prove absence of previous sexual intercourse and the presence of laceration does not prove defloration.

          Other Causes of Hymenal Laceration:

          · Passage of clotted blood during menstruation.

          · Ulceration due to disease, like diphtheria.

          · Jumping or running.

          · Falling on hard and sharp object.

          · Medical instrumentation.

          · Local medication.

          · Self-scratching due to irritation.

          · Masturbation.

          · Insertion of foreign bodies.

          · Previous operation.

There can be complications of laceration, like secondary infection, hemorrhage, fistulae formation, stricture, and sterility.

          Secondary Infection

Due to the activation of the bacterial flora in the vaginal canal or a superimposed infection may set in, mostly in women with poor hygienic habit.

          Hemorrhage

A rare complication but this may be present in severe compound laceration of the hymen.

          Fistulae Formation

Recto-vaginal or vesico-vaginal fistula may develop in the case of compound laceration.

          Stricture

Hymenal laceration alone will not produce stricture but in case of involvement of the vaginal wall it may consequently result in narrowing of the canal on account of the scar formation.

          Sterility

Trauma and infection may further involve the upper part of the female generative organ and may cause loss of procreation power.

          the garden

I’ve been thinking on proposing to my beautiful girlfriend, and I wanted to make her feel special and I wanted it to be memorable for her.

I saw this girl in the mall walking by, as I was eating my subway. I was mesmerized because of her exuding beauty. I was scared to walk right up to her but I thought this is a onetime thing, and if I don’t walk up to her I might miss the chance on knowing her and I might not see her again. So I decided to just do it. As I walk near her, I smiled and she smiled back, then I said “Okay, that’s a good sign.” There were butterfly flapping in my stomach, I have never felt like this before, and I had my share of girlfriends too. Right then and then I knew this lady will be the person I will spend the rest of my life with. And now I’m planning to make her say yes to my proposal.

I looked for a beautiful garden filled with white flowers, and I set up a small table for two. The surrounding is full of lights, and I asked someone to cater for us. I will be proposing to her in the sound of If it wasn’t for her love by Heather Headly. So wish me luck tonight!

Hayabusa: A Phoenix waiting to be reborn

john cenaWhen we talk about professional wrestling, we often use World Wrestling Entertainment as reference, and why not, it basically globalized pro-wrestling after the NWA put it on the map. We often talk about John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, and others, but unknown to most, one country supports pro-wrestling so much, it often grazes the newspapers without having to create controversies like gimmick gay marriages, drinking beer all over the place, or most recently, shaving a billionaire bald. The country I’m talking about is Japan and one of their legendary wrestlers from the Land of the Rising Sun is the one and only Eiji Ezaki, mostly known as Hayabusa.

Born November 29th, 1968, Ezaki started watching wrestling in 1976, idolizinghayabusa mask Mexican wrestling legend Mil Mascaras and Tiger Mask. Through the years he found a friend who has a similar passion as him, and a name that he will hear for years to come, Masashi Honda. The two shared a similar burning passion for wrestling, and both would eventually knock on the doors of the FMW training dojo, where they started from students then eventually transformed into two of the promotion’s top stars.

What made Hayabusa one of Japan’s biggest wrestling stars relies in his ability to provide tremendous amount of excitement in every match he’s in, coupled with his tremendous heart. His campaign in Mexico gives him the aerial attacks that would be his main arsenal. His arsenal includes various suicidal dives, moonsaults and suplexes. But his ultimate finishing maneuver is a corkscrew 450 splash he calls “The Phoenix Splash”, a move that only he can pull off, until now.

hayabusa           When Atsushi Onita contemplated retirement, FMW was in jeopardy as he was the promotion’s top draw. But with great trust to Ezaki’s abilities, the management chose Hayabusa to spearhead FMW and its new vision. Hayabusa had FMW entirely on his shoulders, but he didn’t succumb to the pressure, and the fans embraced the new FMW, with Hayabusa as top guy.

Throughout his reign, he battled the promotion’s cream of the crop, like Kintaro Kanemura, Masato Tanaka, Kodo Fuyuki, Gladiator (Mike Awesome) his old friend Masashi Honda (now known as Mr. Gannosuke), and even the returning Atsushi Onita. Hayabusa fought them all, and beat them one after the other.

On October 2001, his wrestling career came to an abrupt end when his feet slipped on middle rope while trying to execute a moonsault, making him lose balance in the air and eventually landing forcibly on his neck, paralyzing him. This unfortunate turn of events also marked the end of the FMW promotion itself, as it struggled tremendously with the loss of its top draw.

Not wanting to succumb to the depression caused by his paralysis, he found other ways to be productive, either by speaking in seminars or randomly appearing in certain vignettes. He eventually became successful as a recording artist.

While he’s currently successful with his singing career, he never gave up hope onhayabusa wrestling again. In several interviews, he always tells everyone that his wrestling career is only on the shelf, and that before everyone realizes it, he’ll be back to the one thing he loves.

A mark of excellence, grace, and heart, he has touched the hearts of everyone who had the honor of watching him perform. One thing’s for sure, the entire population of the pro-wrestling world is eagerly awaiting for the moment that we get to see the legendary phoenix rise from the ashes once again.

          Nice to know the law

It’s time we get to know our laws. A lot of people ask what is civil law and how does it differ from criminal law.

          Criminal lawknow the law

Also known as penal law, this refers to the different jurisdictions of various bodies of rules whose general characteristic is incomparable and often severe impositions as punishment for failure to comply. Criminal law punishments includes execution, loss of liberty, government supervision either may it be probation or parole, or fines depending on the offense and jurisdiction. One example of an archetypal type of crimes is murder. Unlike civil law, that maybe enforced by private parties while criminal law is typically enforced by the government.

          Civil law

This is a branch of law that deals with disputes between organizations and/or individuals by which compensation may be given to the victim. The civil law courts provides a confabulation for deciding disputes involving torts, such as libel, accidents, and negligence, contract disputes, property disputes, the probate of wills, trusts, commercial law, administrative law, and other private matters that may involve private parties and organizations that include the government departments. This kind of law attempts to correct right from wrong doing, settle disputes, or honor an agreement. The victim is being compensated by the person who is at fault.

It pays to know the law. More of ours laws to discuss, just stick around!
